First Great Western’s latest livery is applied to the Bachmann Class 166.
WHEN BARWELL-BASED firm Bachmann first produced the Class 166 Networker Turbo DMUs it probably had little idea that such a geographically restricted unit type would produce more than just a couple of livery variations.
Happily for Bachmann, First is now in charge of the franchise and after being initially branded with the FGW Link scheme on top of their ex-Thames Trains colours, the class has now progressively outshopped wearing First’s Dynamic Lines’ vinyls since 2006.
The three-car Class 166 DMU (Cat Ref. 31-028) has an RRP of £102.45 and will be in shops soon.
