Farish extends Class 37 range

Two more ‘N’ gauge ‘Tractors’ are released by Bachmann.

Graham Farish Class 37

FOLLOWING THE RELEASE of Graham Farish’s English Electric Type 3 in the form of BR blue split-headcode No. 37038 (reviewed in RAIL EXPRESS Modeller No. 45) the Bachmann subsidiary has now produced the remaining three locomotives in the first run.

Two of the new Class 37s, which represent the locomotives as originally built with bufferbeam cowling and large Oleo buffers, are pictured here.

This is centre-headcode No. 37238 (Cat No. 371-452, RRP £78.30) in BR blue livery.

The other two machines are both British Railways green examples (described as ‘late crest). Split-headcode No. D6707 (Cat No. 371-451, RRP £78.30) is pictured here, while centre-headcode No. D6826, which features a half-yellow warning panel (Cat No. 371-453, RRP £78.30) is also now available.
