Bachmann is to produce Class B type of TEA vehicle.
FOLLOWING ON FROM 2007’s 100-tonne bogie TEA Class A tank wagon, Bachmann announced today at the London Toy Fair that it is to produce a new version of the ‘OO’ gauge tanker.
The new wagon will have conical ends as used to convey Class B type fuel. Some 170 of these wagons were built between 1967 and 1972 for Shell, BP and Gulf.
Three wagons will be available initially in the colours of BP (black 38-220), Shell / BP (black 38-221) and Amoco (black 38-222) and all were used for the conveyance of crude oil. Each wagon will have a recommended retail price of £20.95.
