Oddball Class 60 released

Hornby’s 60066 in Transrail/Coal sector livery hits the shops.

TRANSRAIL/COAL SECTOR ‘JOHN LOGIE BAIRD’ CO-CO DIESEL ELECTRIC CLASS 60

THE LATEST AND final Class 60 release to be produced by Hornby this year represents No. 60066 in its odd mix of Transrail and Railfreight Coal sub-sector liveries, produced as a result of the locomotive losing its ‘Big T’ vinyls on one side, exposing the remains of its former sponsoring division decals.

Just like the real thing, the ‘Tug’ (Cat No. R2640, RRP £95.00) also only features its John Logie Baird nameplate on one side only.
