Aristocraft’s grand GM

An outstanding ‘G’ Scale Class 66 for under £400.

Aristocraft No. 66405 Malcolm Logistics

IT IS UNLIKELY that 2007 will see a model released which has more presence than Aristocraft by Bachmann’s 1/29 scale (‘G’ scale) General Motors Class 66 locomotive, which has been produced in four British liveries, with a range of European schemes to follow, for an RRP of £388.00.

Cat No. A23204 Direct Rail Services/Malcolm Logistics No. 66405 is pictured here, but also new are EWS (Cat No. A23201), Freightliner (Cat No. A23202) and original GB Railfreight (Cat No. A23205). German, ERS, DLC, Rail4Chem, Railion GM Opel and HHP are the Euro liveries that will be applied.

This outstanding model is shows the same accuracy and attention to detail as the 4mm scale version in Bachmann’s range, with a few extras which have been fitted and which have been facilitated by the large size, this model measuring around two and a half foot over buffers!
